Our team visited Széchenyi István University, Győr

On 6-9 May 2024, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Rasa Glinskienė, the Lecturer Dalia Urbonienė and the Quality Representative Dalia Susnienė visited Széchenyi István University, Győr (Hungary) under the ERASMUS+ programme. During the visit we got acquainted with the study programmes of the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics and observed how the exams are conducted remotely. We met with the Faculty’s researchers and discussed with Professor Marta Szombathelyi Konczos about the possibilities for joint research. We received an invitation to participate in the Faculty’s annual Kautz Conference on Business and Economics, to publish articles by our researchers in the university’s scientific journals. Prof. Habil. Dr. Laszlo T. Koczy invited us to visit another Hungarian university, the University of Pécs, which has 22,000 students in 10 faculties, including 5,000 international students. At this university we were interested in the quality assurance system. Dr. Krisztian Szucs presented how the quality system works at the faculty level and Dr. Roland SCHMUCK, as responsible for the quality system of the whole university, shared his experience in quality improvement in the university. D. Susnienė presented the quality management system of our college. A cordial conversation took place, an agreement was reached with the Erasmus coordinator Ms. Réka SOMFAI in autumn to discuss the possibilities of cooperation in the framework of Erasmus+ programme.
