Representatives of PANKO visited colleagues at the Baltic International Academy

November 26–27, representatives of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution visited their colleagues at the Baltic International Academy in Riga, Latvia, as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program.

The Deputy Director for Research and Development of the Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution, Dr. Evaldas Sapeliauskas, and the Head of the Applied Research and Innovation Center, Dr. Simona Vaitkienė, participated in the Erasmus+ exchange program and met with the Vice-Rector for Research of the Baltic International Academy, Dr. Vladislav Volkov. During the meeting, opportunities for collaboration in the development of applied research were discussed to enhance the scientific competence of the Baltic States in Europe.

Vesta Juškienė, a public procurement specialist from the State Property Management and Public Procurement Service, met with the Quality Management Specialist of the Baltic International Academy, Zanna Jelisejeva. During the visit, the representative of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution had the opportunity to familiarize herself with the structure and administrative activities of the Baltic International Academy and to discuss the challenges of ensuring effective implementation of activities.

Lecturers Associate Professor Dr. Sigita Šimbelytė and Associate Professor Dr. Giedrius Nemeikšis delivered lectures to students and discussed with the administrative staff the current issues and challenges of the legal systems in both countries. Topics included changes in the system of legal institutions, new challenges for lawyers in the context of the international geopolitical system, issues in the training of legal professionals, and other relevant matters, as well as potential future collaboration.

Dr. Lina Kazokienė gave a lecture titled “Principles of Institutional Activity Planning“ to Business Administration students. The students consolidated their planning knowledge through practical exercises. The lectures were attended by students from Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Latvia.

The Head of the Library, Vilija Raubienė, met with the Head of the Library of the Baltic International Academy, Natalija Gratkowska. During the visit, the representatives of Panevėžys College had the opportunity to connect with their colleagues, exchange experiences, and become acquainted with the scientific resources and facilities of the Baltic International Academy.
