Cooperation Visit to Latvia

Lecturers of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution Danutė Klokmanienė, Audronė Rimkuvienė, Viktorija Čeponytė, Loreta Klokmanienė, and Stanislava Stanevičiūtė — visited Latvia’s Rezekne Academy of Riga Technical University on December 2–3. During the visit, they delivered lectures to Social Work students and participated in discussions on the use of professional social work terminology in English, case management in social work, changes in social roles during aging and social services.

Together with the Head of the Social Work study programme, Rita Orska, the lecturers discussed current issues in social worker training, shared their experience in preparing for programme accreditation and addressed the challenges faced by students who work while studying full-time, including the organization of independent studies and assessment procedures.
