ERASMUS+ visit to Turiba University

On February 11-12, 2026, the lecturers of the Law study program of Panevėžio kolegija/Panevėžys State Higher Education Institution, dr. Giedrius Nemeikšis, dr. Sigita Šimbelytė and Ermina Čižienė, visited Turiba University (Latvia) on an Erasmus+ program visit, where they met with the Head of the Law Department Ivita Kisnica, prof. dr. Ingrida Veikša and other members of this academic community. During this meeting, the possibilities of developing academic cooperation and participation in conferences organized by both educational institutions were discussed. In addition, a good experience was shared in developing internationality and carrying out pedagogical activities, as well as the current legal issues in both countries were discussed, and insights were provided on the development of social partnership and solving legal problems.
