ERASMUS+ visit to Turiba University

On March 18-19, 2026, assoc. prof. dr. Sigita Šimbelytė of the Law study program of Panevėžio kolegija/ State Higher Education Institution visited Turiba University (Latvia) as part of the “Erasmus+” program, where she met with the Head of the Law Department Ivita Kisnica, prof. dr. Ingrida Veikša and other members of the academic community. During the meeting, issues of academic cooperation, sharing good practices, developing internationality and carrying out pedagogical activities were discussed, as well as legal issues of both countries were discussed. In addition, she participated in the 27th Turiba University international scientific conference “Artificial intelligence and digital transformation: innovations, opportunities and ethical challenges” and read a scientific report “The domestic violence in Lithuanian criminal law: the limits and prospects”.
