Dr. Renata Žvirelienė, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, undertook a visit to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ), situated on the Dardanelles Strait in north-western Turkey, from 14 to 17 October as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
During the visit, lecturer R. Žvirelienė delivered a lecture to the students on the subject of “Consumer Behaviour: what is necessary to know?”. During the course of the lecture, the students were furnished with an understanding of the process of consumers’ decision to purchase services and the factors influencing it.
The lecturer from Lithuania was received with great enthusiasm not only by the students of this faculty, but also by her colleagues in the field. During the meeting with Professor Dr. Lütfi Atay and his colleagues, they discussed the prospects of scientific activities in the preparation of joint scientific publications and international projects.
The lecturer was gratified that Professor Dr. Atay had extended an invitation for her to view the ancient city of Troy, which has retained its architectural identity and Germanic spirit, and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List 20 years ago.
