Oral hygiene students and lecturers meet at the University of Lisbon

On 10-13 December, Rima Adomaitienė, lecturer of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences of Panevėžio Kolegija State Higher Education Institution, visited the University of Lisbon, Portugal, under the Erasmus+ program. During the visit, Rima Adomaitienė met with lecturers and students of the Faculty of Dentistry in the field of Oral Care Studies, gave lectures, and participated in practical workshops. 

The University of Lisbon Oral Hygiene students were introduced to Panevėžio Kolegija State Higher Education Institution and the opportunity to participate in student exchange programs, and later participated in theoretical and practical specialisation classes. R. Adomaitienė got acquainted with the practical training base and infrastructure of the University of Lisbon and discussed with the professors the possibilities of scientific activities in preparing joint publications. 

During this visit, the University of Lisbon was also visited by the professors of the oral hygiene program of the West Coast University of the State of California, so it was a great opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of oral hygiene studies not only in Portugal but also in the United States of America.
