Our students participate in an international geopolitics essay competition in Poland

The second-year International Business students at Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution participated in the international essay competition on geopolitics, organised annually by the Chelm University of Applied Sciences (Poland) and the Polish Geopolitical Society. Students of the Creative Strategies module delved into such important geopolitical issues as:

Geopolitical consequences of AI development

Climate change as a factor of geopolitical destabilisation

Global waste export – between environmental responsibility and neocolonialism

Geopolitical competition over Greenland – between autonomy and the influence of great powers.

Congratulations to Greta Morkūnaitė, whose essay was awarded as one of the best. Greta thoroughly analysed different strategies, discussed their strengths, weaknesses, and reviewed potential opportunities and threats. Representatives of the Chelm University of Applied Sciences presented Greta with the prize established by the Polish senator, Prof. Józef Zając.
