The representatives of PANKO visited Biruni University in Turkey

Representatives of the Department of International Relations, Projects and Marketing of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution, Laima Mikalajūnienė and Viktorija Vidžiūnienė, visited their colleagues at Biruni University in Istanbul.

The community of our institution was invited to participate in the International Week events organized by Biruni University. Biruni University is a private higher education institution named after the renowned scholar Al-Biruni, who was recognized by UNESCO in 1974 as a “universal genius.” The university comprises six faculties: Dentistry, Pharmacy, Education, Engineering and Natural Sciences, Health Sciences and Medicine.

The representatives from Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution had the opportunity to explore the university’s laboratories, study programs, and main scientific research directions. During International Week, participants expanded their knowledge not only in academic fields – they also took part in team activities in the dietetics laboratory.

Upon returning from the visit, the representatives brought back valuable ideas which they plan to implement during the upcoming international scientific conference SCEDU.
