Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution hosted International Week
Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution hosted International Week, during which students had a great opportunity to expand their knowledge and acquire new competencies by participating in lectures by foreign lecturers.
Lectures were given to students by:
- Dr. Tomasz Balcerzaki from Poland (University of Technology and Economics in Warsaw) who introduced the students to the “UAV-drone current market” and “Airline Management”;
- Angelina Tjurina from Latvia (College of Accountancy and Finance) presented the topic: “Basic principles of the Latvian tax system and tax revenues”;
- Julija Rastorgujeva from Latvia (Baltic International Academy) gave a presentation “From Compliance to Competitiveness: The Role of Accessibility in Modern Business”.
Other participants came for training visits, met with responsible representatives of their fields and visited the Innovation Center of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution, and got acquainted with the current scientific research. One of the most important goals of the international week is to promote cooperation between representatives of different cultures, strengthen cultural and academic exchanges between students and teachers from different countries. This is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons, deepen your knowledge, accumulate international experience and establish new connections.
It is good news that thanks to the international week, two cooperation agreements have been signed with Polish higher education institutions: University of Technology and Economics in Warsaw and State Academy of Applied Sciences in Chelm.
