Erasmus+ visit to Azerbaijan – a new partnership established

From January 12–16, an Erasmus+ visit took place in Azerbaijan at Baku Business University, which has become a new international partner of the Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution (PANKO).

The visit was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Rasa Glinskienė and Lecturer Dalia Urbonienė, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Management Arūnas Tautkus and Lecturer Remigijus Kaliasas. The delegation received a warm welcome and participated in meetings with university administration and students.

During the meetings, key cooperation areas were discussed:

• joint scientific research initiatives;
• preparation of joint academic publications;
• internship opportunities for Azerbaijani students in Lithuanian companies;
• lectures delivered by university staff to PANKO students.

In addition, PANKO researchers presented their papers at the ISER International Conference held at the same time, sharing research results and establishing new academic connections.

This visit marks an important step towards strengthening international cooperation and expanding future academic and research opportunities .
