GREEN TECH project meeting at Grenoble Alpes University
Lecturer of Technology Faculty Remigijus Kaliasas and International Relations Coordinator Jovita Kaziukonytė-Levanienė participated in the international Erasmus+ KA2 project “Development of an innovative and cross sectoral European education proGRam to strEngthEN the training of TECHnicians in the field of renewable energy – GREEN TECH”, No. 2021-1-FR01-KA220-HED-000023268, in the testing of module M1 (solar energy) at the partner higher education institution, Grenoble Alpes University, located in France.
During the project, each module was tested by the project partner organization where it was developed. It is later tested in other project partner organizations. The received test results and feedback are important in order to ensure quality and consistent teaching material on the MOOC platform. The purpose of the MOOC platform is freely available learning material. Currently, in cooperation with the company SoliTek (https://www.solitek.eu/en), which is a leading developer of solar energy solutions, the largest manufacturer of solar modules and energy storage systems not only in Lithuania, but also in the whole of Northern Europe, an educational video about the production of solar cells is being developed.
It is hoped that the learning material produced by the project will create a link between higher education institutions and between future technicians. This project is key to training a new generation of technicians ready to work in the European energy sector.
At the end of March, partners from the Alpine University of Grenoble will come to Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution to test a module on hydrogen gas.
