Nordplus project meeting in Panevėžys

Panevėžys University of Applied Sciences, on 19 – 20 of November, 2019 hosted the Nordplus Higher Education Nordsam university network lecturers and coordinators meeting. Panevėžys University of Applied Sciences was attended by representatives from Finland (Novia University of Applied Sciences), Norway (Oslo Metropolitan University) and Latvia (Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia).

During the project meeting discussed new intensive courses, defined cooperation mechanisms, pedagogical approaches and expected student learning outcomes in the field Health care. Partner universities discussed about ERASMUS+ opportunities for mutual mobility of students and lecturers, by updating the availability of clinical training opportunities among the partner universities in 2020/2021 academic year.

After intensive discussions and visit of institution, representatives of partner universities went on a visit to Republican Panevėžys Hospital. In collaboration with the hospital’s staff the participants of the project got acquainted with the structure of organization, during discussions comparing health care models among countries.

The project partners are eager to start the work and expect a smooth and productive cooperation in the future.
