Experience Sharing in Daugavpils University

On May 2-3, Asta Butkuvienė, the lecturer of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences of Panevėžys College/State higher Education Institution, visited Daugavpils University under the Erasmus+ program. The teacher gave lectures to students of the general practice nursing study program which lasts for full 4 years and there are 120 students. The teacher inspected the university’s teaching base, had discussions with the students and teachers. Both teachers and students were greatly interested in Panevėžys College’s biomedical study programs and their duration. The mobility possibilities of students and teachers were discussed, and the desire to come to Panevėžys College for internships was expressed. Teachers and students were invited to participate in scientific practical conferences organized by Panevėžys College and to publish articles in the journals of our institution. In the free time the teacher toured the city of Daugavpils, visited the Daugavpils Fortress, and the Mark Rothko Museum, viewed exhibitions of ceramics, photographs, and avant-garde art.
