Students are grateful to lecturers from Turkey

Third year students of physiotherapy study programme of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution, would like to thank the lecturers prof. Kadirhan Ozdemir and prof. Melih Zeren, who came from Izmir Bakircay University, Turkiye under the ERASMUS+ exchange programme, and who visited Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution on October 16-20, 2023, and lectured on the following topics: lymphedema rehabilitation and respiratory system rehabilitation. During this lecture, Prof. Kadirhan Ozdemir provided the students with theoretical knowledge on the methods of lymphedema treatment, and introduced the structure and function of the lymphatic system. The students also received practical training in the algorithm of lymphedema treatment. Prof. Melih Zeren introduced the students to the respiratory system, its diseases, examination and treatment methods used in physiotherapy. We are grateful to them for the knowledge and practical training they received: lymphatic massage techniques and bandaging techniques.
