Lecturers of the Pre-school and Pre-primary Education study programme visited Rezekne Academy of Technology

On 7-10 November 2023, lecturers of the Pre-school and Pre-primary Education study programme of the Faculty of Social Sciences – Reda Jonušauskienė, Rimanta pagirienė, Lilija Kryževičienė, Dalia Urbonienė, and Sigitas Laurinavičius – visited Rezekne Academy of Technology in Latvia under the ERASMUS+ programme. The academy, which was established 30 years ago in a small town in Latvia, has about the same number of students as Panevėžys College. During the visit, we got to know for the first time the study programme in the field of pedagogy. During the meetings with the Dean of the Faculty and the Chairman of the Programme Committee, the possibilities of cooperation were discussed. We received an invitation to publish articles by our lecturers and students in scientific journals published by the Rezekne Academy of Technology, and the possibility of short ERASMUS visits for students was agreed.
