Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution representatives visited the Daugavpils University
On 14-17 November, the International Relations Coordinator Jovita Kaziukonytė-Levanienė, Project Manager and the lecturer of the Faculty of Social Sciences Kara Lina Guokė, Consultants of Centre of studies, carrier & student’s occupation Edita Kriukaitė and Laima Astrauskienė, Marketing Manager Viktorija Vidžiūnienė, Chief Engineer of the Applied Research and Innovation Center Kęstutis Lukoševičius, Head of Practical Training and lecturer of the Faculty of Technology Sciences Ineta Pelenė and the lecturer of the Faculty of Social Sciences Ramūnas Jukna visited colleagues at Daugavpils University.
The Faculty of Education and Management, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Music and Arts and the Faculty of Humanities of Daugavpils University offer more than 50 study programmes of all academic levels. Over 2200 students from different countries are currently enrolled at the university.
The team of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution visited Latvia under the Erasmus+ exchange program.
Lecturers gave lectures to students in different topics:
Ineta Pelenė: „The impact of advertising on company awareness“
Objective – to introduce students to the basics of graphic design and the possibilities of applying advertising tools in organization management. Students will be able to analyze and evaluate successful and unsuccessful cases of design in advertising, plan advertising activities and advertising requirements in the company, will be able to combine design options, considering the prevailing trends in the advertising market, will develop personal creativity and entrepreneurship.
Kara Lina Guokė: Appreciative Inquiry: Leveraging Strengths in Strategic Planning.
Appreciative inquiry is a positive, strengths-based and collaborative approach to strategic change and sustainable growth for organizations. It is an effective process of inquiry to maximize the positive potential for strategic planning and the whole system change. This lecture is designed for the business students to expand their tool kit for strategic planning and equip them with methods, tools and practice of Appreciative Inquiry to develop their capability as leaders for positive organizational change.
Ramūnas Jukna: “Disabled child in the family and society”
How can we better understand families with disabled children? First and long-lasting emotional reactions of parents. The background of family and social context. Relationships with specialists and teachers. Ways to support families with disabled children.
The team took part in meetings with Daugavpils university staff. They shared experience in the field of students’ exchange, new teaching methods, marketing, international projects managing and etc.
During the visit PANKO team had possibility to visit exhibitions at the Centre of Technics and Industrial Design “ENGINEERING ARSENAL”. Every member of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution team found the trip particularly useful and engaging.
