Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution participated in the international specialized higher education exhibition “Education & Career EXPO 2024”
Kristina Buikaitė, the coordinator of international studies at Panevėžio kolegija’s Department of International Relations, Marketing, and Projects, along with Toma Naumčiuk, the lecturer at the Faculties of Social Sciences and Technologies, attended the “Education & Career EXPO 2024” in Yerevan, Armenia, from April 10th to 12th. This event marked the 23rd edition of the international specialized higher education exhibition in Yerevan, attracting over 13,000 visitors over three days.
Representatives of Panevėžio kolegija had a unique opportunity to introduce their higher education institution for the first time in Yerevan and invite young Armenians interested in obtaining higher education to study at Panevėžio kolegija. Information about study programs offered at Panevėžio kolegija (in 2024) was provided to the students: International Business, Business Management, General Nursing Practice, Physiotherapy, Information Systems Development and Maintenance, Electronics Engineering, and Robotics.
Additionally, at the initiative of the Education Exchanges Support Foundation, the meeting between the educational institutions of Lithuania and the Ambassador of Lithuania Andrius Pulokas was organized at the exhibition. During the meeting, opportunities for collaboration were discussed.
Moreover, on April 11th, in cooperation with the Erasmus+ National Agencies of Lithuania and Armenia, representatives of Panevėžio kolegija, along with other Lithuanian higher education institutions, participated in a contact seminar at Yerevan State University. The seminar included presentations on the education systems of the respective countries, best practices of Lithuanian and Armenian higher education institutions in internationalization administration, discussions on cooperation opportunities within and beyond the Erasmus+ program.
