PANKO Representatives Participated in the International ERASMUS+ Days in Rēzekne

For several years, Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution has maintained close cooperation with the Rēzekne Academy of Riga Technical University. Continuing this partnership, lecturers Sigitas Laurinavičius and Reda Jonušauskienė participated in the International ERASMUS+ Days held in Rēzekne, which brought together representatives of higher education institutions from Lithuania, Poland, and Türkiye.

During the event, participants presented their institutions, shared good practices, discussed opportunities for international cooperation, and took part in various academic and cultural activities. Representatives of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution introduced the organization and delivered a lecture entitled “From Real Objects to Digital Stories: Creative Activities in Preschool Education”. The presentation showcased creative activities that enable preschool children to combine the real and digital worlds by animating their drawings, using augmented reality applications, creating digital stories, and producing short animations.

The lecture also explored how digital tools can foster children’s creativity, inquiry-based learning, and active engagement in the educational process.

The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen international partnerships, gain insights into the experiences of higher education institutions in other countries, and share the educational practices implemented at Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution.
