Explore Academic Ethics: Join Online Seminars for Students

Do you know what the consequences of academic misconduct can be? Why does purchasing an academic paper not replace the knowledge and skills gained through your studies? How can artificial intelligence be used responsibly in higher education?

The Office of the Ombudsperson for Academic Ethics and Procedures invites students to participate in a series of online seminars addressing these and other important topics related to academic integrity.

The seminars will take place in November–December 2026.

Topics will include:

• Academic ethics and its fundamental principles;
• Academic misconduct and its consequences;
• Academic writing and the value of acquired competencies;
• Research security;
• Responsible use of artificial intelligence in studies.

The seminars will be held online via Zoom and will be available in Lithuanian and English.

We encourage all students to take part, expand their knowledge and contribute to fostering a culture of academic integrity!
