TEACHERS OF PANEVĖŽYS UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES PRESENTED LECTURES AT RIGA COLLEGE OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE

24 – 25 of January Social Science faculty lecturers presented lectures to Accounting students at the Riga Accounting and Finance College (Latvia). Česlovas Bartkus presented topic “The view into Baltic Stock Markets”, Ana Samuilova – “Characteristics of the taxation of Lithuanian population” and Alma Skujienė – “Accounting process concept”. The lecturers met with Inesse Vingre-Ruskule, Deputy Director for Studies of the Riga College of Accounting and Finance, and Olga Ose, Head of the Studies Department.

The meeting focused on Erasmus+ programme, student internships, opportunities to develop research activities, scientific publications and student conferences. Also lecturers met with the Baltic Academy’s Financial Management study programme Director of the Finance Management Studies Programme Žanna Černoštana. She enquired about the organisation of internships. The participants were interested in the organisation of internships in simulation companies and student conferences at Panevezys. In their free time, the lecturers visited the “Museum of Modern Style” in Riga.
