Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution representatives visited the University of Las Palmas Gran Canaria

On 6-9 November, the Director Dr. Gediminas Sargūnas, the Deputy Director for Studies Dr. Jurgita Lieponienė, the International Relations Coordinator Jovita Kaziukonytė-Levanienė and the lecturer of the Faculty of Social Sciences Mr. Umit Yakar visited the University of Las Palmas Gran Canaria.

Lecturer Umit Yakar gave lectures to students at the Faculty of Humanities. The lectures were an in-depth study of the application of games and digital tools in education. The students were introduced to the theory and practical application of these innovative methods. The staff took part in meetings with Dr Jesús Ariel Alemán Falcón, Coordinator of the Faculty of Teacher Training, and in discussions with Dr Jin Taira, Vice-Rector for International Relations, and Dr Javier Ponce Marrero, Director of Mobility. During the meeting with Dr Noemi Melian, Coordinator of the Faculty of Engineering, the automation laboratories were visited and a cooperation agreement was agreed. We would like to congratulate ourselves on the fact that every academic year we have Erasmus+ students from this university coming to the Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution.
