Studies and Career Centre

Purpose of the Center

To organize and carry out the planning, accounting and quality supervision of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution study process, to administer the activities of the College study process, to prepare plans for attracting future students and to implement student admission activities, administration and organization of career management services for students and graduates.

Center functions:

Participate in the preparation of legal documents regulating studies and improving the regulation of studies;
To organize and control the implementation of the study regulations and other documents regulating studies;
To organize the implementation of measures to improve the quality of general studies;
To coordinate the organization of study processes in academic departments;
To organize the planning of the workload of teachers in the study units of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution;
To control the use of the staff and salary fund of lecturers and study service staff;
Calculate and coordinate the pedagogical workload of the departments in accordance with the legal acts and the documents of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution;
Coordinate and approve study process schedules;
Administer the database of subject descriptions;
Collect and summarize information about students, study programs, studies;
To perform operative and short-term and long-term analyzes of the number of students and the reasons for its change;
Maintain an electronic database of student accounting and other study resources;
Prepare reports for the Ministry of Education and Science and other institutions;
Provide information to the student data register, SODRA and other institutions;
To prepare and print educational documents and their appendices, to organize the issuance of educational documents and their appendices, registration, settlement of graduates with Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution;
To coordinate and administer the provision of financial assistance to students from the State Studies Fund, the granting of loans and social scholarships;
To prepare and submit to the subdivisions the orders of the Director of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution on the issues of organization of studies and their extracts;
Coordinate the process of paying students for studies;
Issue certificates confirming student status;
To organize student registration for electives;
To plan and carry out information campaigns about Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution’s study programs, admission conditions and career opportunities;
To develop the methodological and infrastructure base of Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution’s career management services system;
To form and carry out career monitoring of college graduates;
Organize the work of the admissions office;
To publicize the College in general education institutions, to work at Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution stand during various fairs;
To provide information to Panevėžio kolegija/State Higher Education Institution’s community and the public about the Centre’s activities and results.
