Basics of economics 3 To provide competence in economic thinking, skills to navigate and operate successfully in a constantly changing environment in the economic environment, developing the ability to reason on economic topics, understanding how it works economic laws, conveying to students the modern supporting areas of economic science – basics of microeconomics, macroeconomics.
Sociology 3 To introduce students to the theoretical and practical aspects of sociology, to shape their sociological thinking, the ability to analyze the social world, to understand and be able to connect the social, economic, political and cultural environments, analyze and evaluate the phenomena of social life, develop introspection, criticality of everyday life
in terms of knowledge.
Psychology 3 To acquaint students with the basic concepts of psychological science; provide theoretical knowledge, helping to understand and evaluate the phenomena of everyday life, to think critically; to know oneself, to understand others people, to build and maintain good relationships. To develop students’ ability to care for themselves and the people around them psychological well-being, understand crises, effectively overcome them and apply psychological knowledge to achieve personal, professional, social goals.
Basics of entrepreneurship 3 To form students’ knowledge about the new economic processes taking place in the business of the knowledge society and
the impact of entrepreneurship on these processes and the practical entrepreneurial skills needed to find new opportunities and implementing innovative business ideas. To develop students’ entrepreneurial abilities, including the ability to perceive and analyze entrepreneurial opportunities, entrepreneurial processes and models, evaluate various business opportunities, including and own business, assess the impact of the global environment on business and provide basic knowledge on how to take advantage challenges of the modern knowledge society for global business. To develop students’ ability to organize and manage organization’s activities, belief in one’s own success, achieving set goals, the desire to be independent, creative calculated risk, drive and decisiveness.
Basics of management 3 To provide students with the knowledge of management science and the ability to apply the principles and theories of management science, which based on this, students will be able to plan, organize, motivate and control what is necessary to achieve the goals personnel and make appropriate decisions regarding personnel, production, innovation, changes, and organizational culture in management areas.

Innovative Information Technology 6 The course is designed to familiarize students to the principles of effective electronic search, train to find the necessary information in specialized databases, to prepare various purpose documents, use the spreadsheets while organizing practical daily tasks and complex documentation, process accounting data and analyze financial activities. What is more, the course is designed to introduce students to modern presentation development principles, train them to create databases and summarize the information stored in the database.
Health Nutrition 3 The course of the subject is designed to provide students with knowledge about the composition of nutrients, values, healthy and dietary nutrition, the principles of health promotion. Theoretical classes analyze the concept of healthy and dietary nutrition, dietary nutrition and nutrition care, the composition and value of basic nutrients. During the exercise, the ability to plan a menu according to different age groups is developed.

Subject Credit Short description of the subject
Business Continuity and Company’s Growth 3 Business continuity is important to ensure consistent productivity from your entire team. Step one is to have your company’s policies and procedures set in stone. Everyone working for the company needs to be on the same page. If there is a change in policy from one hire to another, it can lead to confusion and a big decrease in productivity. All current and future employees should be given the same training and instruction so that when there is a change in personnel, there will be a seamless transition. The subject aims to introduce the issues.
International Logistics 3 For most companies, international logistics start as a “learn by doing” exercise — solving problems as they arise while the business grows in scope and complexity. Eventually, though, the best way to optimize international logistics isn’t just to continually adapt to constraints and challenges as they arise; it’s to see the whole picture and optimize around the complete set of global constraints and options available to the business.
Management 6 Accounting and Financial management are two separate functions where, accounting requires to report past financial transactions whereas the other, financial management requires to plan about future transactions. The key difference between Accounting vs financial management is that Accounting is the process of recording, maintaining as well as reporting the financial affairs of the company which shows the clear financial position of the company, whereas, the financial management is the management of the finances and investment of different individuals, organizations and other entities.
Business Information Technologies and Digitization 6 Digitalization is the use of digital technologies to change a business model and provide new revenue and value-producing opportunities; it is the process of moving to a digital business. The subject introduces the main techniques and tools for the transformation.
Stress and Conflict Management 3 A primary key to successful organizational leadership is effective conflict management. This subject addresses the use of the behavioral style paradigm as a tool to manage conflict effectively for the benefit of the individuals and the organization involved.

Fundamentals of Economics 3 Fundamentals of Economics for Business is an innovative text designed specifically for students in business education programs. It provides a comprehensive yet accessible introduction to the key economic issues relevant to present or future business decision-makers. Reflecting the requirements of globalization, the content is international in scope and is applicable worldwide.
Entrepreneurship Basics 3 This course does not only show the questions that you need to consider, but also gives some tools and methods which will help answer them. It will provide a comprehensive knowledge package to start a business with, so one can put more time and energy into making dream come true.
Finance Markets 3 A financial market is a broad term describing any marketplace where trading of securities including equities, bonds, currencies and derivatives occur. Often, they are called by different names, including “Wall Street” and “capital market,” but all of them still mean one and the same thing. Simply put, businesses and investors can go to financial markets to raise money to grow their business and to make more money, respectively.
Applied Mathematics 3 Application of mathematics to real-world problems with the dual goal of explaining observed phenomena and predicting new, yet unobserved, phenomena. Therefore, the emphasis is on both the mathematics, e.g., the development of new methods to meet the challenges of new problems, and the real world.
Multimedia and Computer Design 3 It is the activity of representing processes of an enterprise, so that the current process may be analyzed, improved, and automated. BPM is typically performed by business analysts, who provide expertise in the modeling discipline; by subject matter experts, who have specialized knowledge of the processes being modeled; or more commonly by a team comprising both. Alternatively, the process model can be derived directly from events’ logs using process mining tools.
International Business Law 6 An outstanding preparation for a legal career in the international business arena, combining quality business law theory with a distinctly practical real-world approach. The International Business Law subject teaches you think and act from an entrepreneurial point of view, to be creative and innovative, considering the legal aspects.

General and Development Psychology 6 The goal of the subject is to deliver the knowledge about psychology science concept, definitions and biological psychology basics, structure of mind. To develop understanding of cognitive processes, personality and its distinctiveness, develop ability to understand learner as universal psychic, social individual, understand its needs. To educate cooperation and communication skills based on individual characteristics. To form ability to evaluate self and others, plan, project possible problem solving and assistance ways. To educate professional communication culture and motivation. To give possibility for students to acquire knowledge about age periods’ development peculiarities. To help understand heredity, environment, nature and education problems, to be able to estimate development crises in various age development periods, to choose methods, ways and forms of children socialization.
Visual expression 3 Students will be able to identify different children age periods, their previous experiences, reflecting in their visual expression, analyze and use pre-school and pre-primary education regulations and didactic provisions; plan and organize individual and group children’s art and constructional activity with creative selection of learning methods; apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills developing children’s color, graphic, spatial-space, volumetric and forming visual harmonization principles; plan of art and design to provide operational integration and correlation to other areas of activity, to assess individual children’s visual experience, plastic expression, knowledge qualitative change; demonstrate the practical expression of various technological character abilities.
Integrated Practice in Pre-school Groups (3-5 years) 6 Students will be able to model and create a continuous pre-school educational content according to each child’s needs and cognitive styles, providing educational approaches, methods, interpret theoretical knowledge and adapt it in practice; design a favorable educational environment model; to apply various work with parents when communicating and collaborating with the learners’ family.

ACCOUNTING

Financial Markets 3 Students will get acquainted with essence of financial markets, participants and their behavior. During the course students will be taught to understand finance market impact to economics, variety of financial instruments analyzed, advantages and disadvantages of stock explained. Students will be introduced to analysis methods used in financial markets enabling to define market tendencies.
Management Accountancy 6 Students will get acquainted with management accountancy methods and will learn how to use them. Will learn to control subject expenses, calculate costs, plan activity, prepare detailed activity budgets.
Statistics 3 Students are provided with the knowledge on statistics science concepts and methods usage possibilities analyzing business companies’ indicators. Knowledge given about importance of statistics basing effective financial management decisions based on calculations. Using computer programs developed skills to collect, organize, group, analyze and evaluate the statistical data, use the graphic data visualization, preparation of statistical research reports on the results. After completion of the statistics subject course students will understand significance of statistics analyzing social and economic phenomena, will understand statistical analysis methods application possibilities and limitations, will understand statistical survey process, data analysis models and the results interpretation, will be able to integrate statistical data analysis models researching the qualitative and quantitative performance indicators of organization performance.
Computer Processing Of Documents 3 Students will get acquainted with documents used in companies’ accountancy. Will learn to understand accountancy documents and create, develop and fill documents using computerized technologies.

Subject Credit Short description of the subject
International law 9 The purpose of the subject is to provide students with the knowledge of international law and its basic principles, the branches and institutes, a relation with the national and European law and to reveal the influence of international law to the legal system of Lithuania. During classes the abilities to understand the framework of international law and its modern tendencies; to interpret and apply the rules of international law, to assess juridically international relations and national legislation are formed. Also, they are taught to analyze the practice of the International Court of Justice and national courts, as well as analytical and critical thinking skills, interpersonal and communication abilities are shaped.
International business law 9 The purpose of the subject is to introduce students to the legal norms governing internacional business relations, their system and principles, to develop skills to find the internacional business relations governing legal norms, to systematically evaluate and apply them in practice, also, to be able to administer legal processes of the enterprises and institutions. This course is intended to show students how international business to provide the opportunity to explore the international business environment and understand the internationalization procees.
Professional ethics of a lawyer 3 The purpose of the subject is to provide students with the knowledge of the main legal professions and their diversity, to shape the moral public relations‘skills and develop their ability to evaluate the impact of professional ethics for the functionality of certain public bodies and the integration of ethics into practice in various areas. To teach students as future lawyers for different types of establishments being able to morally and professionally operate properly in both, common and extreme practical situations.
