Staff mobility

Erasmus+ teaching visit in a foreign higher education institution is a mobility between higher education institutions of two Program Countries, that have signed an Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement, during which lecturers teaches at a foreign partners higher education institution according to a pre-agreed curriculum, also can improve the quality of teaching subjects, discuss and take new initiatives for academic cooperation.

Erasmus+ staff training visit is a mobility between higher education institutions in two Program Countries that have signed an Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement or between a sending higher education institution and a host company. Activities may include: seminars, workshops, hands-on observation, workshops, etc., excluding participation in conferences. The learning visit shall follow a work plan agreed in advance and approved by the sending and host institutions, which shall set out the overall purpose and objectives of the training visit, the expected results of the planned training activities and the syllabus for the training period.

Program Countries: 28 EU countries, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Turkey and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

Administrative, academic and non-academic staff, wishing to participate in mobility activities, must submit a completed application to the International Relations Coordinator during the application period.

Erasmus+ staff teaching and training mobility applications can be submitted once a year. Applications must be agreed with the dean of the faculty or the head of the relevant department.

The selection of Erasmus+ staff teaching and training mobility shall be based on the following criteria:

The staff member selected for the visit is responsible for preparing the mobility for teaching or training. Business consultations are provided by the Dean of the faculty or the Head of the unit, and consultations on the management of Erasmus+ documents are provided by the International Relations Coordinator. The staff member must submit a completed teaching / training program to the International Relations Coordinator.

Prior Erasmus+ staff mobility departure, the following must be prepared:

Staff mobility may receive an Erasmus+ grant to cover part of the travel and subsistence expenses incurred during an Erasmus+ visit abroad.

An employee can also participate in a mobility program with a “zero grant”.

At the end of the Erasmus+ visit period abroad:

A staff member who does not comply with the terms of the visit program and/or the financing agreement and/or who does not submit the report documents may be required to reimburse part or all of the Erasmus+ grant.
