Why choose this programme: After receiving the Bachelor’s degree in law, graduates will be able to apply their good knowledge of legal acts in administration of juridical processes of activities in various enterprises and institutions. Legal education is important not only for becoming a lawyer, but also for becoming a successful businessman or being efficient in a job which requires legal knowledge.

.The aim of the programme Law study programme is to train law specialists with creative and critical way of thinking who have good knowledge of Lithuanian juridical system, standard legal acts and are capable of applying these acts in practice as well as to be efficient in administration of juridical processes of activities in enterprises and institutions.

Attention to practice: practical skills are being improved by students during practice in a real environment. Extensive cooperation with social partners enabling to state that the study programme is competitive, necessary and of wide application. Law studies are oriented towards the needs of the labour market; coupling between theory and practice is evident; high quality studies granted by the partnership of active and initiative students, lecturers with extensive educational competence and employers.

Opportunities for international studies: 

Students of the programme have the opportunity to study according to the ERASMUS student exchange program.

Career opportunities:

 From a professional viewpoint, lawyer‘s qualification of a graduate of Law study programme provides potential not only to execute the functions of administrating public procurement or work in the companies and institutions engaged in insurance business but also to work in Human resources departments or Law departments of various enterprises, institutions and organizations or miscellaneous business companies. Also, graduates will be able to work as legal specialists in all institutions which provide legal services: notary offices, courts, lawyers‘ and court bailiffs‘ offices, police and the like. Upon graduation, students can continue their training under programmes of higher education social science studies field at university level.

  • Will be able to apply and systematize legal acts; to make use of legal databases and modern information technology.
  • Will be able to identify legal regulation problems, to set research goals and objectives, to analyze the data and formulate conclusions, also to impart knowledge.
  • Will be able to communicate and collaborate with other experts, to work independently and in a team in accordance with professional ethics.
  • Will be able to manage procurement and insurance administration processes.
